So I got told off for not blogging enough the other day, so here goes nothing.
Since I finished my exams, nothing much has happened. I've seen hardly anybody and I don't feel the need to get up early unless we go over our internet and I can only go online in offpeak time.
I've been working on getting a better winning average at Solitaire on my iPod, I'm currently sitting on a respectable 55%.
My aunty and uncle welcomed their second baby boy into the world, his name is Seth Joseph Boelen and I can't wait to meet him. He's not allowed visitors because he was eight weeks premature and has to stay in the hospital till February. Because my aunty was trekking back and forth from the hospital all the time, most of my spare time was taken up babysitting Seth's older brother.
After baby was born, it was Christmas, and I managed to spend all of my money at the Boxing Day sales. We had to buy a new sandwich toaster, after our old one blew up (and just because I was using it at the time doesn't mean I broke it - it actually spontaneously combusted on me and left a giant burn mark on the kitchen counter). And then we had to buy a new cake mixer because the old one broke (I didn't break that either, though somehow I managed to get the blame for that too). And then the oven broke and THAT WAS TOTALLY RIKKI'S FAULT.
After all the explosions and breaking appliances, I went for a drive with Mum up to Northampton (just north of Geraldton) to see my Nana, whom I love dearly. And you'll all be pleased to know that I have now finished my 25 hours, and can go for my P's very soon. Yay :D
But the very reason I have written this blog is to clear some things up.
1. When driving back from Northampton, there was a collision with a kangaroo somewhere between Jurien and Lancelin.
2. I still stand by what I said before - the kangaroo hit me. "Blog about when you hit the kangaroo" was completely off course, Wong, the kangaroo hit me.
3. I know it hit me because I'd stopped in time to not hit it when the kangaroo changed direction and ran into the car.
4. I very nearly shat bricks.
5. Mum's going to SGIO tomorrow for a damage assessment.
6. Lastly, as I have told my sister many times, 'How's skippy?' jokes stopped being funny a very, very long time ago.
So that's all that's happened, henceforth I'll try to blog about more stuffs that goes on in my life but I'm still at school and doing year twelve, so hopefully you guys will all be really supportive both morally and fiscally...
Lol, nevermind. That's a hopeless path to walk down.
Henceforth, I am going to be in year twelve. And I'll have my license which is more than most of you can say!

Well life has been so awesome.
What with you guys dropping off the face of the planet and being homosexual and growing beards while I sit at home for two weeks and cry as I eat Choc Wedges watching the Dog Whisperer on some underdeveloped Foxtel Channel, and the one day I do go outside I end up getting so sunburned I look like something out of James and the Giant Peach and I'll give you a hint, I do not look like James.
But I'm glad you're all back and hopefully you'll all be really nice to me when I see you cause I've missed you guys more than I'll actually admit to your faces.
Henceforth, if anything happens to any one of you, like if somebody accidentally falls on a knife, I'd really miss you. Quite a lot.
So, don't die or do any of that crazy shit kids do these days.

Travel Blog
Well howdy. Unless you hadn't heard (or I hadn't fried your brains with my endless rambling on about it) I'm going on a holiday this week. Pretty snazzy, wouldn't you say?
So, as of Thursday, this blog is on hiatus. I have set up a separate blog for my travels because it's going to be a different style of blogging, more like a journal than just meaningless babble that I decide I'd like to tell the entire internet about.
I'll probably have a few blogs on here between now and then but as of Thursday, if you'd like to know the goings on of my holiday, where I am and such, and perhaps chit-chat about how cool it is being a space cowboy, then head on over to The Other Blog which will be the temporary blogspace for the four weeks of my holiday.
Henceforth, I'll be henceforth'ing till Thursday, and after that I'll see you on the other blog. There's a tab up the top for it as well, next to leekspin.
And I also updated the leekspin page. :D

To quote dear old Kathy, "JESUS HAS RISEN ! PRAISE THE LORD !"
Wise words, Kathy, wise words. She is truly an inspiration.
Henceforth, HAPPY EASTER! :D Hope you get everything you want and stay safe and chocolatey. <3

Tourism Campaign
Jagshamesh!
Well, honestly I try to promote our state but it's so fricken big and pointless. I love going for road trips up north. I'm a big fan of car drives but not many other people are. So I'll give you the blog tour from down here to up there without you actually having to get in a car and drive for the next four years for a holiday. Or catch a plane, because planes are bastards. Can't trust them.
So, this is like a cultural experience, but of your own culture. You don't even know half the stuff that's out there...

So we start at Perth. Yeah yeah, nice nice. Perth is isolated as.... I don't know what. More isolated than anything. You can't escape. It's nice though, for a giant relocation village.
I figured I might add this in anyway. A detour of sorts. This is a small criminal island off the coast of WA - something called Rottnest. Rat's nest. Charming.
It's a nice island, much things to look at. Snakes, rocks, broken arms, you name it they've got it.
Note: However appealing it sounds, do not ever ride around the whole island on your push bike. Sure, the view is great. But seriously, it's been two years since I did this and my arse still hasn't recovered.
So look, and like. Don't ever.
Just stay close to the bay.

I didn't fall off, it was a drink break. On the floor. Because people at Rottnest don't sit down on chairs. And I've got a purple helmet, so take that bitchezzzz. :D
Warning: watch out for these little buggers, they'll go straight for your jugular. distant relative of the drop bear - the infamus quokka monster. cute but they're deadly. beneath that furry disguise lies a vicious beastie with great big teeth. rawr.
I take you to the next location - Horrocks Beach!!
Needs an exclamation mark because in theory it's exciting.
The holiday destination of my youth, forever etched into my soul. I've been living there two weeks every summer for my entire life and I swear to God there's only about three permanent residents.
That said, they're charming people. It's a really sweet little town. As long as you don't mind the lack of internets and phone range for those city-slickers like me with bad coverage.
Horrocks is about six hours drive north (or four, if your driver is a hoon). It's further than Geraldton but only by about an hour. Pass through Northampton on the way there, too - I loves Northampton. Nana lives there. Say hi to her for me when you go past. It's a beautiful town.
and there's always a chance something like this could happen during the compulsory family fun. Oh lord, it was so painful. But I smile for the camera.
btw, that was a few years ago. No more braces, baby.

and this is somewhere between Horrock's and Port Gregory. A convict prison, methinks. Delightful.

Just your everyday pink lake. at port gregory.

and some island rock thingy between Port Gregory and Kalbarri...
That's all of my photography. Now time for some other photos from other people to show you the rest of the wonderful coast...
CARNARVON!!!!!!!!!!!!!1!!1!!!!1!
well Carnarvon in a nutshell is made up of five things: bananas, mangoes, dirt, flies and a satellite dish.

so this is some chick with the satellite dish. Thx, google images. Anyway. History lesson, this is the first satellite dish evar made for communication in outer space. Not with aliens, with spacecraft and the like. Apollo and stuff. Though if aliens were to contact us, it'd probably be here. Not that anyone would believe it, everyone from Carnarvon is crazy.
they do have some mighty fine bananas, though, and the mangoes cannot be scoffed at.
The best things are made in carnarvon - myself included. :D carnarvon is my hometown but I haven't ever lived there and I've only been back once. But it still means a lot to me... with all it's flies and fruit and satellites...
Oh whoops I missed Geraldton. Just let me put some charming photos of the lovely town in here...
a memorial for the HMAS jfslkdfsjfk at Geraldton. Sorry, I forget what it's called.
that's about it, there's some other interesting things (like Mitchell and Brown electrical store, and Stuart's Mensland... oh and the King Kong discount shop.) there's some sideways trees and yachts and windsurfing things but you know how it is...
and yeah. that's as far as I'll go, because after Carnarvon is a lot of other stuff I cant be bothered telling you about.... find a real tour guide. or go on a real tour of a real place. I know I can't convince anyone to go see all that dust and stuff.
But I can try.
Henceforth... something. :D
