Legendary

Sorry for blogging so many times today but I have been rummaging around youtube and found this kid....

He's playing Avenged Sevenfold, All That Remains and Something Corporate on the piano.
That's not the amazing part.
Wanna guess what the amazing part is?

.... he's in church.
:D
Henceforth GOD APPROVETH OF GOOD MUSICS!
I think one of his watchers suggested playing a hymn by Lamb of God.... sounds like a good idea...

Masters of the Unusual

I'm not talking about myself this time, I speak of other talented beings that are being rediscovered on youtube.
There's this French guy called Michel Lauzière. He's an entertainer of many sorts, both visual comedy, musical, artistic and acrobatic. This is his horn act and personally it's one of my favourites.

And there's another video here called "Karaoke for the Deaf" and if you haven't seen this then you need to get out more. His name is Johann Lippowitz but I believe this is only his stage name.

And I don't particularly like yo yo's but this guy is pretty good.
It's funnier just listening to the crowd.

OH MY GOOOOOOODDDD YO YO MASKER YUUKI WE LOVE YOU!!!!!

Cats!

I have never posted about my fantastic cats. For those who have never met my cats, prepare for a little blog about said cats.
(By the way, I am aware that only insane people talk about their cats.)
(This isn't talking, this is blogging.)

Exhibit A: Ella.

This is Ella. She's almost nine and she is a Russian Blue who eats anything that offends her, except for screaming frogs. She's named after Ella Fitzgerald.
She is very social and will often headbutt things/people she likes, so I have forgiven Lachy for painting her when in fact she sort of painted herself.
She often assaults me (lovingly) in the morning to wake me up and give her a pat, and she knows how to climb ladders. She also stalks anything that moves.
Exhibit B: Ella stalking a duck.

Exhibit C: Chester

This is Chester. Chester is also a Russian Blue, but he is black. This is quite uncommon and so makes him unique. He was the runt of his litter and also a little bit strange - he's not quite as clever as Ella (who is deceptive and unusually smart) and he has a bit of trouble with his depth perception and coordination. He also doesn't know how to meow properly, and resorts to growling instead.
No joke. My cat growls.

Exhibit D: nomnomnom hose.

He also eats anything. Cat food mostly, but he also likes to eat cheese, pork, ham, gravy, biscuits, eggs, potato, chicken, baked beans, lolly bananas, chips (he's particular to BBQ flavour), chocolate, peas, corn and mops. (He likes to chew on the mop. I don't know why.)
Chester is only a few years old and Ella didn't like him much when he first arrived, but she's used to him now. She still beats him up. She sort of morphed into Schwarzenegger cat because he would want to play fight all the time so she had to bulk up.
They don't bite (much) and they are cute and fuzzy.
All those people who say they don't like cats haven't met mine.
Henceforth, loveth my cats!

Another priceless picture of Eddy...

I remembered something very, very important yesterday but unfortunately I was already sleeping (just about) so this post had to wait till morning.
The last picture of Jordan that I put up as of him doing epic DBZ style attack with the cool sparkler effects. On that same night, however, I decided that this would also be a good idea.

And it was.
Eddy looks less than impressed....
But isn't he just the cutest fairy you've ever seen? :D
Henceforth, we shall await what other interesting pictures of Edwardo I can find on my computer...
(God that sounds so wrong...)

Oh and also, hope you get well soon Jordan. Running into poles is not so good for your health.

Studying

Over long periods of time, study is definitely a waste of time.
Cram studying is much better for your brain, if like me your brainspace for maths and chemistry is often crushed into oblivion by more important things like discovering mocha flavoured le rice.
mocha + le rice = BEST THING EVER
that's the only maths I've done today.

Henceforth, I'm going to sleep. Seeing as I can't play my bass because everyone in my house has a headache for no adequately explored reason.
I haven't been allowed to play for weeks so it's certainly not my fault, or Randall's. They won't even let me play my lil' old ocarina... and the piano is in the same room as the television so we all know who wins in that situation... it's the room with foxtel, so of course the TV gets preference... man, how am I supposed to tap into my pond of talent if I can't even make noise? my pond has been drained by headaches and annoyingly convenient technology... just lose the TV and get out the panadol already...
(...possibly the longest 'Henceforth' ever?)

Alestorm

Scottish Pirate-themed hardcore musicians. What more could you ask for?
Pretty much the equivalent of Amon Amarth, but these guys are pirates, not vikings.
Yeah, pirates.

Henceforth, nothing. This is just fricken awesome.

Old Photo

...That I never uploaded. I guess I feel bad about posting a paedophile picture of Edwards on my blod so I'm putting up an epic one now, which will cause much more respect to be held towards him.

Or something.

I introduce to you, super-saiyan-jordan.

Henceforth, respect the kamehameha-master... but feel free to keep lol'ing at that other picture, too.

B the W... Wongy, why are you blogging during school hours? :D

Tennis Champion

I put in a lot of work to win that doubles title. Well, I only had to play three games, but Sweet Jesus that's still effort!
So I was pretty pleased when they gave me mah trophy. Yeah, snazzy trophy.... Haven't had one for a while. Not bad, not bad....
Unfortunately, Mr. Schneider was a little bit stingy on the trophy budget.
And this is what happened.

I was kinda disappointed at first. I mean, not only is he kinda flat and has flabby elbows, but my miniature tennis player is now an amputee, with one foot only holding on by a tiny bit of plastic!
But now I'm really impressed with it. I mean, it's a lot more versatile than the other trophies.

weeeeee!

nanananananana nananananananana flying-tennis-superman-thing !
I think he needs a cape.

Henceforth, it's my destiny to lose a foot and then become a levitating tennis player. It's a sign... I am the chosen one...

Literature class

We have officially finished the Glass Menagerie.
And I am sad. It was a play I actually liked.
Now we have to do poetry.... which is awesome :D I am one of the minority that actually enjoys poetry. Last year I did an assignment on Sylvia Plath. She stuck her head in an oven. Poetry is so underrated!
But I did so like the Glass Menagerie. It was a sad play, but it was sweet.
Goodbye, Tennessee Williams, and thank you.
Henceforth; Poetry.

Edit: I retract this blog.
I fucking hate poetry.
That is all.

Today we be quotin' Mr. Joe Blay, who recently commented on a previous blog and having included the following word...

Thanks for the lols, Joe.
Henceforth, if someone can come up with a more ridiculous... I mean, impressive word, then please share.

Google.

Google, the ultimate crime fighter.
Clicky.
Henceforth, we await the next moment of victory from Google Maps.

Britt and Ash's Happy Snaps

I have never had so much fun at a party as all of my other year 11 friends seem to find great joy in sitting around doing nothing and talking about other people's hair and fingernails and such. Quite ridiculous.
So thanks so much to Britt and Ash for adopting myself and Sammie for the night, we had a wonderful time :D
I particularly liked the way that Sammie, Ben and I turned 'Poker Face' into a fantastic rendition of 'Brooklyn Rage'. If you heard us and wondered what was going on, troll through my old posts and find the Yu Gi Oh Abridged vids...
And now, here are the happy snaps.

... camwhorage?

and now we have "exibit eddy", which is where we find all the pictures taken of jordan during the night and see if we find a common factor.
This time, it seems he's taken on the role of 'mega paedophile', which is tres amusant. :D

Thanks for the good times, Eddy :)
Hope everyone had a super special awesome time !
Henceforth, I await the next chance I have to see Sammie and Ben in contact lenses and Chris wearing angel wings. Dammit I didn't get a picture of Chris....

Edit: anyone else who has photos, upload them naaoooww !

9

One of the best movies I've seen, ever. Came out late last year, and if you haven't seen it then go buy it. Don't download this one, it's worth buying. You'd all better love it.

Shane Acker and Tim Burton = AWESOME!!
Henceforth, hope there's some more post-apocalyptic creepy animated movies coming out this year.

Samantha's 16th :D

Well well well, Conor said I can make a few unofficial fails so here goes nothing.
Sammie's party was great. Apart from the minor music issues, it went wonderfully :) Luckily I was able to take some happy snaps and this is pretty much what the entire night consisted of....

McGee acting a tad creepy (but we love him anyways)

Chris deciding that Bokka would make for a good source of heat (twas le amusant)

and finally, Jordan doing his very best Wong impression. Look closely and you'll see the wings.

So thanks for an awesome party and hope everyone had a good time. I'm quite sorry but these pictures simply had to be posted.

Henceforth: Shall take more happy snaps at Brittany's. Hopefully it will be encore plus amusant.
Sorry about the French, I'm just practicing for when I'm rich and travel to Paris.

Death by school.

It happens. It could be happening to you.
Here are some symptoms.
Oh wait sorry I just died.
Henceforth, I'll blog again when I stop being mauled to death slowly and painfully by my education.

Slappin da Bass :D

Okay, so it mightn't be their best song, but it's pretty epic anyway. Rockband kinda ruined this for me...
but that's not the point.
It'll make you cry with joy. :D
Henceforth, Imma learn how to slappa da bass... properly.

OH MY GAWD

I don't think anyone else cares much but I have to say it...

THERE'S GONNA BE A CODE GEASS R3!

(third season ^_^)

LIFE IS COMPLETE!

Henceforth, I await CG:R3...

ANIME #5

Yeah, I realised I haven't ever written a blog about FMA, and everyone needs to watch this at one point in their lives.
Fullmetal Alchemist - possibly one of the best shows about alchemy. Possibly one of the only shows about alchemy. Possibly both.

Wikipedia says this about Fullmetal Alchemist...
Born in the village of Resembool from the country of Amestris (アメストリス), two brothers named Edward and Alphonse Elric lived with their mother. Their father, Hohenheim, left home for unknown reasons and years later, their mother, Trisha Elric, died of a terminal illness leaving the Elric brothers alone. After their mother's death, Edward became determined to bring her back through the use of alchemy, an advanced science in which objects can be created from raw materials. They researched Human Transmutation, a forbidden art in which one attempts to create or modify a human being. However, this attempt failed, ultimately resulting in the loss of Edward's left leg and Alphonse's entire body. In a desperate effort to save his brother, Edward sacrificed his right arm to affix Alphonse's soul to a suit of armor.

Not your usual storyline, but then again it never usually is.
FMA is good because it's semi-believable. (Note the 'semi' - most animes are totally unbelievable.) Instead of magic and sorcery, this alternate reality-type world is a world of alchemy, where special power can be found through the laws of science... semi-believable, totally awesome.

Although it's slightly different, it's still got that classic anime taste of twenty thousand sub plots that are hard to keep up with. Luckily, they do a lot of flashbacks, so there's no need to worry about it.
So get watching this one after you've watched the other ones I've already recommended. Ask for an episode or two if you'd like to try it out, I'm willing to share.
Henceforth; wish chemistry was as cool as alchemy. -_-

Aw crap.

I just finished watching Code Geass second season. And there isn't a third.

... what do I do with all my TIME?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Henceforth, I'll watch Fullmetal Alchemist. From the start.
And write a blog about that too...

Book Review - Old Kingdom Chronicles

The Old Kingdom Chronicles, by Garth Nix.

Only the Abhorsen can keep the living safe from the dead.

I don't know where Garth Nix gets his ideas from but I'd sure like to know. The Old Kingdom Chronicles is a trilogy written by this Australian author (He also wrote the Keys to the Kingdom series, but that was for younger readers. The Old Kingdom Chronicles gives me nightmares...)
Set in a world where there are two lands and ways of life - that is, the new kingdom, full of technology and machinery, and the Old Kingdom, full of magic. The first book is based on the story of Sabriel, the daughter of the Abhorsen - the person whose duty it is to keep the dead beyond the final gate. The Old Kingdom is a place of free magic, where dead beings wander with the living, and Sabriel is sent away to the land where magic is controlled and very nearly extinct.
But when the Abhorsen is lost in the gates of death, someone has to stop the walking dead from not being, ahem, dead. So Sabriel has to take her fathers place as a 'gatekeeper' of sorts, and she controls the zombie-things using a number of bells which can control certain monsters, and she's got a really cool sword and she draws things in the dirt and stuff. I'm kind of going off topic, but honestly you have to read this book. It's amazing.
The books are titled Sabriel, Lirael and Abhorsen, and it's pretty dandy because you can buy them all in one and save moneys. :) For any other bookworms who are interested, that is. It's an epic zombie story. Definitely recommended, one of my all time favourites.
Henceforth, gonna go read some more. Hang in there.

The unsolved riddle.

Joe nearly got it right but he went with logic and logic failed him.
The answer was C) girl singer and girl screamer.
I find joy in educating you people.

Edit: I don't know why you were so offended by the lack of henceforth. but I appease you.

Henceforth! bitches...

Being a girl...

A) Is expensive. The checkout guy at Target agrees with me. Boys don't have to buy makeup or sanitary products. (Not usually.)

B) Is painful. Heels and procreation included, and I think the two are vaguely related.

C) Means I am superior, because I have to deal with both A and B. And you boys don't.

Henceforth, I demand respect. Commencing immediately.

A riddle for you, sir!

Alright. So, here's a question for you.
Listen to this song. It might not be your fancy, but for the sake of an argument and some educational purposes, please listen.
A question awaits after this video, and please DON'T GOOGLE or I will call you a cheater.
Unless of course you have heard of this band (IWRESTLEDABEARONCE... no kidding) and therefore you can't answer the question but you can see the other people's answers. Hilarity!
Okay, so listen.

Now, riddle me this. (it's okay, it's a multiple choice)

Is this
a) a girl singer and a guy screamer
b) a guy singer and a girl screamer
c) a girl singer and a girl screamer
d) a guy singer and a guy screamer

To find out the answer, here's what you do.
First you must post what you think.
Then you google the answer. But don't give it away. ^_^

Btw, this is a pointless post. I just thought I'd annoy everyone in existence once again. So Henceforth, I wrestled a bear. Once...

Weird News

WEIRD NEWS STORIES!!!!!!!!!

yeah.

Article #1 found at news.com.au

One foot out of the grave

A US teenager was arrested Friday morning after he was found carrying a foot stolen from a Jewish cemetery.

Police, who arrived at the scene at 3:30am local time after being called by a witness, said 18-year-old Daniel Wayne Staley approached them carrying the foot in a bag, The Dallas Morning News reported.

“I dug it up from a nearby grave and took it from a Jew girl just because I wanted a foot,” Staley said, according to a police report.

Staley was charged with theft of a human corpse, The Dallas Morning News reported.

The cemetery is located in Pleasant Grove, in southeast Dallas.

Australia's homeless to get pineapple windfall

Call it pineapple windfall but the homeless Down Under will soon be feasting on the fruit.

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission is getting over 800,000 cans of pineapple - weighing 1.1 million kilos, filling 50 semitrailers and costing 3 million dollars - for the nation's homeless community.

The commission has asked American company Heinz, which took over Aussie firm Golden Circle in 2008, to stop marketing products with the label "proudly Australian owned".

Accordingly thousands of tonnes of wrongly labelled pineapple cans will have to be disposed of, reports The Sunday Telegraph.

But now the poor and destitute will get to enjoy the fruit, thanks to charity Foodbank Australia.

( that's a heartwarming story :D )

Gay dogs not welcome, diner in South Australia told

A RESTAURANT in a northwest suburb of Adelaide that refused a blind man entry because it thought his guide dog was "gay" was ordered by the Equal Opportunity Tribunal to pay him $1500.

The (Adelaide) Sunday Mail said Ian Jolly, 57, was barred from dining at the Thai Spice restaurant in May 2009 after a staff member mistook his guide dog Nudge for a "gay dog," a tribunal heard this week.

A statement given by restaurant owners Hong Hoa Thi To and Anh Hoang Le said one of the restaurant's waiters said that Mr Jolly's partner Ms Chris Lawrence stated "she wanted to bring a gay dog into the restaurant."

Mr Jolly and Ms Lawrence were refused entry to the restaurant - which displays a "guide dogs welcome" sign - even after providing staff with a guide dogs fact card.

At an Equal Opportunity Tribunal conciliation hearing on Friday, the restaurant agreed to provide Mr Jolly with a written apology and attend an Equal Opportunity education course, in addition to paying him $1500.

"The staff genuinely believed that Nudge was an ordinary pet dog which had been desexed to become a gay dog," a statement from the hearing said.

Mr Jolly said while he was happy with the result, the embarrassing incident had dampened his enthusiasm for eating out at restaurants. "It gives you some comfort that Equal Opportunity is there," he said.

"But I always have that fear now, when I go out.

"I just want to be like everybody else and be able to go out for dinner, to be left alone and just enjoy a meal."

Thai Spice refused to speak to the Sunday Mail when contacted for comment.

And finally, what sort of news week would it be without our dear friend Jesus...

Article #4, found at dailytelegraph.com.au

Face of Jesus found in a field

Jesus in a cornfield

GOOGLE has captured the face of Jesus — in the middle of a FIELD.

Satellite pictures appear to reveal the Lord's bearded face staring out of the ground in eastern Hungary.

Eagle-eyed web browsers noticed it while looking at Google Maps images of remote farmland.

Last month, we reported how the Son of God's face was spotted burned into the cooking fat of a pan of bacon.

... Jesus has been everywhere man. He's been everywhere.

Henceforth, google is my only source for news...

Duke.

Duke Devlin.... is awesome...

But I lol'd for this picture. :D

Henceforth, I'll never see him in the same way. Not that the abridged series helps at all...

Sebastian's Voodoo - short film

It's won a number of awards and for good reason. Can't really describe it, just watch.
